Odd and Even Numbers

Lesson 2.1 To identify odd and even numbers and use a hundred chart to skip-count.

 

Chapter 2 of our Math series teaches the skill of place value.  After an introduction of the concept, students can complete practice of odd and even numbers by using practice page 2.1 on page pw7 in the practice book.  After completion of the practice page, students can log on to www.internet4classrooms.com/skills_2nd.htm and scorll down to number 10 and play both interactive games Dragon Eggs and Odd or Even. 

 

Place Value:  3 Digit Numbers

 

Lesson 2.2 Students are to find the value of a digit by using its place-value position

 

After an introduction of place value students can log on to harcourtschool.com and log on to math using the password ROBY. Find chapter 2 and log on the the E-Lab using understanding 1,000.

 

You can also have students log onto internet4classroom and scroll down to number 5 place value and have them choose identifying

place values.

 

Also under Place Value on internet4classrooms.com you can have students play Mystery picture you can find this under #6 in section 5.
