Working dog had 2 grades.. fact/opinion sheet and compare and contrast
Writing
4. Had them work at centers for for each track .. good for starting out
5. Had to have certain items for them to turn in to them
6. Writing project was separately- followed the unit of study- good non fiction
7. Had to pick a dog breed and research
had to have 3 categories about the breed with 5 topics about each category
8. Used track star for getting the information searched for dog breeds
